Background: AB 2158, the Outdoor Learning and Environmental Literacy Act of 2026, passed off the Assembly Appropriations Committee Suspense File. The bill now heads to the Assembly Floor for a vote, where it needs 41 of 80 votes to pass, before heading over to the Senate.
